Nude Body Language
Cirque Du Nuditie with Harper is a combination of performance art and body language. When we communicate with each other, we think of spoken language. However spoken language is only a very small percentage of all the communication we do. Tone of voice and body language both play a larger part than the actual spoken word.
Cirque Du Soleil uses the body to tell a story through just movement, light and sound. However I thought why not a nude version, where the costumes don't get in the way, where it is just the nude human body. Sometimes the body itself, is a story of a persons life, the scars, the stretch marks, the level of fitness or not, all tell a story about that person.
without speaking a single word, you can tell by body language alone, if a person is comfortable or not, if they are happy, sad, annoyed, or if they think you are telling the truth or not. Body Language is a very powerful way to communicate.
You can tell in these photos that Harper is very comfortable in her own skin, that her utter nudity, to the point of revealing all, says she is open, honest and has nothing to hide. One of the most beautiful languages in the world is body language.
